Andy was born in Royal Oak, MI, but since the age of 4, spent 39 years growing up and living in SW Missouri. Andy graduated from Logan-Rogersville High School (Rogersville, MO) in 1996 and lived in Springfield, MO, for many years after graduation. In 2014, Andy surrendered his life to Christ and joined Crossway Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. At Crossway, Andy met the love of his life, Tabitha, and they were married on August 29, 2015. Shortly after their wedding, Andy and Tabitha had three children: Aaron (2016), Benjamin (2017), and Rose (2016). Andy also has a third son, Bowen Daniel III.

At a men’s conference in 2015, Andy surrendered to the call of ministry, enrolled at Mission University (formerly known as Baptist Bible College) in Springfield, MO, in the fall of 2016, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral and Biblical Studies in 2021. In 2023, Andy graduated with a Master of Arts in Church Ministry from Mission University and is currently a doctoral student at Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA).

In 2021, Andy and his family answered the call to plant Mercy Gate Church in Box Elder, SD (NAMB); the church officially launched on April 17th, 2022. In May of 2026, Andy and his family answered the call to Zion Baptist Church in Covington, GA, and Andy now serves as senior pastor.

Andy loves riding motorcycles, riding bicycles, fishing, and spending time with his family. He also loves those Arkansas Razorbacks—Woo Pig Sooie!!! But most of all, Andy loves Jesus, sharing the gospel, and serving God and God's people!
